Faithful Fridays~Should've Been Me

Today I would like to share a song called Should've Been Me by Citizen Way.

It is talking about how it should have been us that were beat up and nailed to a cross to die because of our sins. But Jesus that had no sin did that for us and put all the sin on himself so that we can have everlasting life because He loves us so much.
 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
2 Corinthians 5:21
The way we can be free of our sins and have everlasting life in Heaven is if we ask Jesus to forgive us of our sins and become a part of our life.

Violin Concert

Yesterday Jacob and I had a violin concert. I was SO NERVOUS, so was Jacob! But when you are playing with other people it makes you feel better because if you mess up no one will notice, which I did quite a bit.

Instruments

I always thought that a person should be able to know how to play at least one instrument. Well just a couple of weeks ago I didn't have a clue about how to play a instrument. And now all of a sudden I am learning 2 instruments and want to try to learn 2 more! Right now I am doing guitar and violin. It is really fun! For guitar I am teaching myself how to play with my mom's guitar and a beginner guitar book. And today I was surprised with a package from my uncle full of guitar things. There were strings, picks and a electric tuner. Thank you so much Uncle!

My violin lessons are every Friday morning at 9:30. Jacob is also in violin lessons too. We have only done one lesson so I can't say if I like or not. The first lesson was just how to stand and how to hold the violin.

The Davy Crockett Songs

We are now all big fans of the 5 episode Davy Crocketts played by Fess Parker.  The theme song for it "The Ballad Of Davy Crockett" we sing every day! My favourite version of it is when Fess Parker sings it.

There is also a song about his gun that Ben and me love!

I know I am suppose to do Beautiful Girlhood but my mom and I didn't get to do it this week so I am going to do a song that will go good with last weeks post. 

Francessca Batistelli is a christain singer that I like to listen to. She has this song that is called I'm Letting Go. It is about letting go of all your plans and dreams that you had for your life and letting God take care of your life. You can still daydream because you can't stop a girl from doing that but let God lead you where he wants you to go because He loves us and He doesn't want to hurt us.

 I want to share some of Jamie Graces songs from You Tube. The first song is how I got my name for this blog, it's called God Girl. The next one is one of my favourites! It's called 1945.  And last of all is the main song that you would know if you listen to her is Hold Me. Jamie Grace is a christian singer. She is one of my favourite singers.
 My most favourite singer is Michael Buble. He is not a christian singer but he has awesome songs and voice. Here are some of my favourite songs from him. Everthing  Home  Haven't Met You Yet.

Concert At The Old Folks Home

 Me, my mom and my brother Ben just came back from a volunteer appreciation concert and desert night at the old folks home. They served ice cream and a Filipinpo choir performed. I enjoyed it.
 We volunteer by serving refreshments when they need help. (That's me watching a solo singer in the picture.)
