You Know You Live In Alberta When....

• "Vacation" means going to Calgary or Edmonton for the weekend
• You often switch from "Heat" to "A/C" in the same day.
• You design your kids Halloween costume to fit over a snowsuit.
•  If you know all 4 seasons: almost winter, winter, still winter and
  road construction
• Your idea of a traffic jam is ten cars waiting to pass a tractor and combine crew on the highway
• Your school classes were cancelled because of cold, but only when it was -40 or colder. I might be home schooled but that is very true for kids that go to school
• You find -20 degrees “a little chilly”
• .You have never owned a vehicle that did not have cracks in the windshield
• You get claustrophobic when you’re in a “big city” like Red Deer and their traffic is “just awful, you wouldn’t believe it”
